Jim was beloved by all who had the honor of knowing him. As a prolific author, dedicated professor, and tireless volunteer. His wisdom lit up countless classrooms and the lives of everyone he encountered. He was always ready with guidance, insight, or a kind word, embodying a true professor´s spirit.
I am forever grateful to have known him-Jim will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness and knowledge and influence will continue to inspire.

Jim was very kind to me so many times. He always offered me wonderful suggestions as I considered challenges. He accompanied me walking door to door in Wyoming to introduce me to folks when I was running for state rep. He was a stellar example of how to truly be a public servant. I am very sad to say goodbye to him.

Jim was so generous and impactful in his volunteer participation and leadership in our local and regional governments - Cincinnati, City of Wyoming, Hamilton County Regional Planning, OKI Regional Council, First Suburbs Consortium, and probably many more. We´ve all been fortunate to have Jim O´Reilly in our community.

Jim was extremely instrumental in representing St. Mary School legallly in the 70's, even so far as taking our case to the Supreme Court. Jim saved the school for future generations. He continued to serve the school in many ways over the years.
