Roger and I are heartbroken to learn about Jim´s passing. He was a cherished friend. Hugs to his family. We do hope someone will contact us to help with Jim´s memorial service. We´ll be traveling from NC, but don´t want to miss the opportunity to extend our condolences to Jim´s family and pay proper respect to our dear, dear friend´s memory.

I had the joy of knowing Jim from the old-time jam at the Trolley Stop, and it was always a treat to run into him here and there unexpectedly. I will miss his easy-going friendliness, his chuckle, and his companionship in the back row.

Heartbroken. I worked with him at Garden Station in 2016 and we both lived at Jaycee Towers until I moved to South Carolina in 2020.

I am saddened to hear of Jim´s passing. Condolences to the family. I first met Jim at Garden Station. While tending my plot I heard someone playing a banjo and there was Jim sitting in the shade plucking away. We struck up a conversation and talked every time we saw each other at the garden. I always enjoyed our conversations. Once he found out my wife had red cone flowers he had to have some seeds so he rode his bike over to our house to get some. Hopefully those seeds are flourishing somewhere and shining bright for Jim.

I'm heartbroken by this sad news. I will miss our long discussions about every plant we came across. You were a master at growing from seed. You will be very missed my friend.
