James Edward Joyal passed away May 09 2021 in Roseville Ca. He was born on October 14 1930 at Berkeley Ca to Meredith Joyal and Ellen Frances Wood. He graduated from Brown Military Academy Carlsbad, Ca. He enlisted in the United Sates Navy and served as a Dental Technician. He served from 1951-1954 during the Korean War. After being discharged from the Navy, he married Grace Anderson .Grace predeceased him. They had three children; Donald Joyal, Beverly Holly and Roger Joyal (deceased).
He worked at Convair and NorthAmerican Aircraft Companies. He retired from Bechtel and Parsons industries as a Project Engineer.
He was an active member of the Free Masons and the Elks in Roseville. He had a lifetime interest in all things automotive, especially motorcycles.
Later in life, he married Eleanor Spalding. She predeceased in 2006.
He is survived by his son Donald Joyal and his daughter Beverly Holly; his stepchildren Charmaine Zitzer, Candide Spalding, Noel Spalding and Marc Spalding and his brothers Fred Mohun and Brooke Mohun
