James Kahler

Jim adopted a baby squirrel at Psi Omega fraternity circa 1980. He was quite the outdoorsman and naturalist.

Miss you everyday! I would kill or die for some of your homemade soup...Love ya, Dad!

Jim was a high school and college friend.Just found an old picture. Wont forget you Jimmy.

I was so sadden to hear about Jim. In my youth some of my best memories were with my all Dubuque cousins Uncle George and Aunt Rosie. Miss you all.

Dr. Kahler was not only a wonderful dentist to me but a wonderful person who treated me with kindness and caring.

Jim was my best friend in dental school and although the miles separated us after graduation, I know we were friends for life. It was great to see Jim in June. I wish it had been under different circumstances. What I witnessed at our meeting was a celebration of his life. It was a legacy of love, family and friends. Well done, Jim, well done.

Dr. Kahler you will be missed. I worked with you for 3 years enjoyed it all. God bless you . You are now in his hands.

Doc is missed very much. My heart goes out to Donna, KK, and all of Doc's family. He will never be forgotten. He was a wonderful friend and dentist to my family.

Dr Kahler was a wonderful dentist and a kind person. He never judged the poor shape of my teeth when I came in to get help. He just figured out a plan to take care of everything, even though it turned out to be a 5 year plan! Over the years I enjoyed listening to his hunting and travel stories. I agree with his goddaughter, he's in heaven now with all those dogs he loved so much.

I was terrified of the dentist until I met Doc Kahler. He was a wonderful example of how a human being should live life to the fullest. He will be missed terribly. My sincere condolences.
