James Kinnunen Obituary

Kinnunen James Alan, 41, of Mpls and formerly Eveleth, died Tuesday, August 26, 2003. He was born May 15, 1962 in Virginia, the son of Edwin & Lorraine (Paivarinta) Kinnunen. He graduated from Eveleth High School in 1980 and Hennepin Technical College. James moved to Mpls in 1982 and worked as a machinist for the hydraulic manufacturer Force America Company. He enjoyed motorcycling and golf. His witty sense of humor will be sadly missed. He is survived by his parents, Edwin & Lorraine of Eveleth; sister, Sherry Black of Rockford, MN; brother, Richard (Kathleen) Kinnunen of Duluth; nieces and nephews, Sheila (Scott) Justus, Sarah (Phillip) Peliska, Mark Kinnunen; grand-nieces, Kaitlyn Kinnunen and Shaylin Peliska; grand- nephew, Brayden Peliska; aunt, Mildred Alto of New Hope, MN; and uncle, Raymond Paivarinta of Eveleth; numerous cousins; and best bud, Linda. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM memorial services on Saturday, August 30, 2003 in the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel, Virginia. Pastor Don Norr will officiate. I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a regular customer at lunch at Bumper's and was a wonderful person. We will all miss him.
