James Jim Ronald Kirsch

Our sincerest condolences are sent to Jimmie's family. We visited Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bob with my parents, Gladys and Jack Bava. Jimmie was always smiling.

So sorry for your family's loss. I never knew most of my Kirsch relatives. My Father was Robert Charles Kirsch of Erie, son of Donatus and Florence ( Reed) Kirsch. Although I grew up in Erie till age 11 before moving to Calif with my Mother Violet and brother Ronald Kirsch. I do go back to Erie from time to time to visit my half sisters Florence Zdunski. I am sad I never met my Great Grandparents or Uncles and Aunts. I pray you rest in peace James.

So sad to hear about Jim. My deepest sympathy to his family. Jim and I served together in the Army, as a matter of fact we road the same bus to Basic Training from Erie to Ft Knox, Ky,. Served in the same Basic Training outfit, C 18 5, and attended the same Advanced Infantry Training at Ft Knox. We also shared the same First Sergeant for numerous years, 1SG Al Yezzi, a great man who taught us so much about life and how to stay alive. He was a good man and we were together thru good and bad times. Actually both of us had Christmas leave at the same time but couldn't get the same plane home. We both decided the stay in and I ended with 30 years of service and officially retired also in 2006. Fond memories of our trials and laughter. WE always laughed since I outranked him by 4 months. Rest my brother for we will see each other again.
