James Edward Lamb, Jr., 59, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on May 24, 2024, in Sewanee, TN.
He was born on February 4, 1965, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to the late James Edward and Paula Sue Gyor Lamb, Sr.
Throughout life, Jay was a skilled and talented welder and coached football for Polk County Youth Football. He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, James E. and Paula Gyor Lamb, Sr., he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry V. and Athere West Lamb; maternal grandparents, Harold and Iva Gyor.
Left to cherish the many memories include his two brothers, Jayson (Lynnette) Lamb, and Harold “Huey” Lamb; one uncle, Charles Lamb; one aunt, Michelle Burnette; stepchildren, Stephanie Knox and Brian Morrison, and a host of nieces and nephews.
No services will be held at this time.
