JAMES (JIM) DAVID LARSON Jim Larson passed away on October 13, 2009 at the Assiniboia Union Hospital at the age of 76 with his family by his side. Jim was predeceased by his father Lars, his mother Bessie, an infant sister, Doreen, his oldest sister Vi and her husband Eugene, his brothers Les, Bill, Ron, Bob, and Alvin. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 40 years Rita, his children Cheri (Brent), and David and three special grandchildren Brooke, Brody, and Braxton all of Assiniboia. Jim also leaves to mourn his brother Roy (Irene) of Churchbridge, his sister Barb (Peter), Janett of Bredenbury, his sisters-in-law Carol, Toronto, Ontario, Muriel, Stewart, B.C., Diane, Kamsack, SK, Kathy, Winnipeg, Man., Mavis (Dick) Morken, Sturgis, SK and many nieces & nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's United Church, Assiniboia, SK with Neil Gilbert officiant. Memorial donations in Jim's memory to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Assiniboia Union Hospital.

Oct.21-To Rita, David, Cheri and family, Doug and I were sorry to hear of Jim's passing away, Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. We have many memories of fun times spent with your family, May you hold memories close and may they help ease the sorrow you feel. Doug and Sophie McConnell, Saskatoon, Sask.

WE just heard of Jim's passing. We are sorry for your loss. I have alot of memories from your house and many of them include televised football games together, Kinsmen functions and his great sense of humor. Thoughts and prayers from someone who cares
