It is just over a year since Jim left us, but the same memories exist, and indeed have grown warmer every time I recall our Friendship. Jim, and Pam, and the Family Circle will be forever in my Heart. Each Game I make in support of both our favourite Portadown Football Club Team revives my memories of our Friendship, which will never be forgotten!
God Bless,
Noel Carville, Portadown, Co. Armagh, N. Ireland.

Whenever Jim and I first met, we were very young Men, and, although we only only spent some 4 years as Friends before he left for Vancouver, he was always a Gentleman, and a well respected Person in the Sporting World.
It was to be some 50 Years before our paths crossed again. Although both of us had matured over the years apart, Jim was still very much the same Gentleman I had met so many years before!
I will miss him very much, but his Memory will live long in my Heart.
To Pam, Jay, Mark, John, Andrew, Kristina, Thomas and all the Family Circle, I send my Blessings.

I only met Jim once a couple of years ago when he was over on holiday. Of course it was at Portadown match. Before and after that meeting we had kept in touch via email and through the Portadown Forums. I sent Jim a number of pictures from his days playing football in Northern Ireland which he grately appreciated. My thoughts are with Pam and the family at this time. God Bless

Jim will forever be remembered as the "Vancouver Portadown Supporters Club". Despite being thousands of miles away he always kept in touch with his favorite football team, the team with whom he played in the past.
The maple leaf flies proudly at Shamrock Park and all over Northern Ireland every Saturday, whereever and whenever Portadown play as testimony to the love he had for the club.
In memory of Jim, and in tribute to his loyalty, we'll endeavour to fly the flag of his adopted home in the years to come so that his spirit will continue to live on in this little part of Ulster. God bless, Jim.

Jim you were a realy good friend and both Jen & I will miss you. You were always there to give a helping hand whenever it was needed. My biggest regret is that we didn't see more of both you and Pam after we moved from Peachland. So rest well my Brother and may TGAU look after you.
Yours Barry Kensall
