LISTON, James Frederick BSc, PEng Gracefully, at Starwood in Ottawa on Friday, May 17, 2002. James Liston age 85. Originally from Toronto, an inventor, Federal Patent Examiner and loving father of five. He fixed everything, including Lancasters during WWII. A natural leftie, rather than complaining there were no left hand boomerangs, he invented the first adjustable one. Author and prolific reader, curler and Ottawa horseshoe pitch champ. At this moment he's playing chess with son Fred til his wife Grace calls them in for Angel's food cake. Human dignity and compassion are alive and well with the entire staff of Starwood and Dr. Rose. Kathryn Sendybyl (Hendrick), Barb Jones (Grant), Walter (Joanne), Harry, seven grandchildren and all your extended family wish you well in your next journey.
