My heart goes out to you all in this difficult time. I was where you are today only six months ago. I know it must have been hard to lose him so quickly but have comfort in knowing he didn't suffer. I can't tell you that it gets easier. There is something about losing a parent that is very difficult indeed. I will tell you what helped is kind words and memories shared by friends of the past. I hope my words can help comfort you. I remember spending many days on the Lloyd farm with Cora growing up. I remember your dad as a big strong man who was always working hard to run that farm. He was always driving that tractor around! I can still see your Mom and Dad coming in from a day on the snowmobiles dressed in their gear from head to toe. They were smiling from ear to ear and telling us of their adventures. That day they had driven with some friends and one of their machines had broken down. They got rescued and ended up in a pub sharing some drinks and laughter before coming home. It sounded like so much fun! I envied them. I also remember many years later sitting under that big tree in your yard on a picnic table and your Dad telling me that Breanne (who was about two at the time) was so cute. He kept looking at me with such surprise, you could tell he didn't know where the years had gone. One minute Cora and I were goofing around on that farm and the next I was standing there with two children.
Hope it helps knowing we are thinking of you all.

Mrs. Lloyd,
We were very saddened to read about the passing of Jimmy. We bought pigs from Jimmy & Rosser in the late 80's early 90's. I was honoured to have gotten to know Jimmy, and found him a true gentleman & friend to deal with. We would run into him from time to time and always had a few laughs & great visit. Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
