Dear Johanne, I met you and James many years ago in Cobourg as Wally Keeler's wife. We were invited to visit your home with our son Kelly, who was a little boy then of about 4. We never forget the hospitality and kindness of you and Jimmy - we had been treated like a queen and a prince. I remember your charming beautiful look and the sincerity of Jimmy who didn't really know what to do with an annoyingly curious toddler. Kelly was very impressed by the BIG MAN, an adult who politely gave him a tour inside your home... Rest in peace, dear James Lokan!!! ~ Sweet Johanne, I send you my heartfelt condolences with love and tender hug! Que Dieu te benisse!! Brig Keeler from Hungary, Budapest

I was saddened to read of James passing in the newspaper. James Dad and my Mom (Mary Pitt) were first cousins. I remember the many visits we had with them and picnics at the beach in Bristol, PQ. Please accept my deepest condolences Johanne.

I am so sorry for your loss Johanne. I remember you both fondly when you lived in Campbell's Bay.

James and I were best of friends in our pre-teen years at Gummow school. We spent many pleasant childhood adventures wandering and bicycle riding around the nearby hills of Northumberland County. I will always remember James as an extremely intelligent off-beat personality who shared my own unconvential sense of humour. We lost contact over the past years but would bump into one another occassionally and share a pleasant and usually laughter filled conversation. Lots of good memories.
