I was so heartbroken to hear that Puddin has left our world. Although I haven't seen him for years, he was a great friend and neighbor for many years growing up and in college. He was kind, witty, fun and always a joy to be around. My deepest sympathies, love and prayers to Sydney and his girls, Pearla Ann, Lester and John and Cameron. He will be sorely missed.e

I remember your beautiful wedding in Statesville, N. C. It was a fun time for everyone. So much love to your families.

My sympathies are directed to all the Lowe family and friends. I met Puddin through his Wilson, NC childhood friends - Wilkerson and Blackburn families - and enjoyed a few NC State football games tailgating with him/them. Puddin was a gentleman and always entertaining in every setting I encountered him. He will be missed by many.

I just read about James passing and want to send my condolences to the Lowe family - particularly Pearla Ann with whom I shared many years of fun memories in the Roundtable Study Club in Wilson. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you! Love, Anne

I am really sorry to hear the news of Puddin's death. Although it's been awhile since our days at Lou U (Louisburg College), the memories have certainly not faded. What an awesome guy! One of the nicest guys one could ever meet. Fun, quick-witted, laid back, but smart as a whip. I also enjoyed giving him a hard time when my hometown team, the UNC Tar Heels won the National Championship in 1982. He loved his Wolfpack and returned the favor the next year. I know he will be missed by his family and friends, but the memories will never fade. My love and prayers go out to his family and all of his friends. Much love, Kelton Durham
