James Franklin "Buck" Lumpkin, 81 of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Athens, began his eternal journey, Saturday, January 5, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lumpkin; children, Tamerous Lumpkin, James Lumpkin, Jr., Terri (Rev. Jamie) Scott, Gerald (Brandy) Lumpkin; step-son, Broderick Giles; siblings, Eudora Lumpkin, Sarah (CD) Kidd, Dr. Ola (Rev. Marvin) Simmons, Randall (Elnora) Lumpkin, Dorothy Aycock, Clarence (Anna) Lumpkin, Geneva (Kerry) Byrd; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11AM, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Ebenezer Baptist Church West. Entombment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.

The viewing will held 1-7PM, Friday, January 11th at the funeral home.

Professional services entrusted to Winfrey Mutual Funeral Home.
