I believe he knew my father Robert “Bob” Caldwell. My father owned Bobs Used Car Corral and worked for Tom Coward Ford in the ‘70’s thru ‘80’s. I have a picture from those days I wish I could of shared with you today. Here is my father Bob Caldwell wearing his Tom Coward Ford cardigan sweater.

Jim was in the Navy with me at Point Mugu Naval Air station for 2 yrs, I remember him singing songs in the barracks with his guitar in the evening hours,,,,then he started singing at the Band-Dar in Ventura....the fellor could sing....have not seen him for a year or two, was a great friend and human being. RIF
