Dear Little Uncle Jim,
You have always been such a special person in our family. No-one could have given us all the laughs that you did! You gave us unconditional love.
I will always miss you and your great sense of humour. The twinkle in your blue, blue eyes could light up any room, and your sometimes-impish grin could lighten any heart. A sweeter little soul, there never could be.
I will always remember the healthy you (before you became ill), the lightness of your walk (just like Uncle Jack's walk), your fun demeanour and your kindness.
But most of all, I will always treasure the memories of your special relationship with your mother, Amy. You always looked at her so adoringly. You were certainly the apple of her eye! The love you two had for each other was special indeed. You were a wonderful tribute to her, and she to you!
You were an angel on earth.
You enriched all of our lives, and will continue to do so. Thank you for being who you were - our very special Little Uncle Jim.
Love you always and forever, Sally

After the clouds, the sunshine, after the winter, the spring,
After the shower, the rainbow, for life is changeable thing.
After the night, the morning, bidding all darkness cease,
After life's cares and sorrows, the comfort and sweetness of peace.
Love you Jim
Bye for now, until we meet again

To all of Jimmy's family,
I will always remember growing up with Jimmy as my friend. What great memories I have of him & his comic books & the times he chased me around our house. He might not be here in body but will always be here in spirit. God Bless
Dallas.

Jimmy was the youngest in his loving and fun-loving family, and he had a fine sense of humour. One Hallowe'en long ago, Uncle Jack tried to fool Jimmy by coming to the front door in disguise as a costumed trick or treater. Jimmy found him out right away - he recognized his shoes! That was a good one! I can still see Jimmy's joyful, gleeful face and hear Amy and Jack's laughter. God bless the McKernan family. Our prayers and loving thoughts are with you at this time.

Oh Uncle Jim, I am so sorry that you left us however I know you are so much better now. Could you please look after us now for awhile?
Whenever I see a comic book or a tee shirt I think of you and "the good old days". You were and are always so special. Please kiss and hug grandma and grandpa for me.
