James McLucas Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 7, 2024.
James McLucas (Jim), born on November 27, 1953, to Valda Rozinska and William Furlong and later adopted by Wesley McLucas, passed away on February 1, 2024. He leaves behind his fiancée, Cathy Sefton, and three beloved wiener dogs, along with siblings Michael McLucas (Pia Alhovaara), Janette Furlong (twin sister), and Wesley (Katherine) McLucas & family.

Jim served his country in the Army and was very proud of that. He worked until a couple of months ago, showing a strong work ethic and commitment throughout his career. Despite facing deteriorating health for many years, he never complained and handled his struggles with quiet strength.

In his free time, Jim found joy in camping, hunting and the thrill of riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles with his friends. These shared adventures created lasting memories and reflected his love for the great outdoors and camaraderie.

He is remembered by those who knew him for his dedication to his work, his love for his family, and the unwavering companionship of his furry friends. Jim's passing leaves a void in the lives of those close to him, but his memory will live on through the shared moments and experiences he leaves behind.

Memorial services will be planned at a later date.

Rest in peace, Jim. You will be missed, and your adventurous spirit will be remembered fondly by all who shared in your outdoor escapades.
