James M. Davis (Mike) passed away peacefully at his residence with his loved ones surrounding him on May 7, 2025. Mike graduated from Hogan High School Vallejo, Ca. in 1968. He leaves behind his sister Winnie Berger of Rio Vista, Ca. His Fiance of 14 years Renae Scott-Goade of Sun Valley, Nv. Twin step-sons Josh Goade of Fernley, Nv. , Jayson Goade of Reno. Nv. a step daughter Ashley Goade of Sun Valley, Nv. a daughter in law Jenny Goade of Sun Valley, Nv. and several nieces and nephews. Mike ran the 7-Up bottling Company in Vallejo, Ca. for 30 years and worked for Dr Pepper-Snapple in Reno, Nv. He served in the US Army in Vietnam in 1971-1972 where he was exposed to Agent Orange. He battled several types of cancer for the past 8 years. He is proceeded in death by his Mother Betty Davis, Father Norman Davis both of Vallejo, Ca. , a brother Bill Davis of 29 Palms, and a brother Jack Davis of Burney Falls, Ca. Full Military Services will be held on July 31, 2025 at 1pm at the Fernley Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada. In lew of flowers please make a donation to the Cancer Society of your choice.

So sorry to hear about Mikes passing we graduated same year from Hogan 1968 he was a great guy sincerely Darrell Henkel I wish I could make it up there but I have funeral here

I was very sad to hear of Mike´s passing. We were classmates at Hogan together. Mike was a sweet guy. My condolences to Renae, his family and friends.
