Dear Linda and family,
We are sorry to hear of Jim's passing. No one can feel your sorrow, but sometimes knowing that others care and share your loss may help you find the strength you and your family need to deal with this major loss in your lives. We have many fond memories up the cabin over the years. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for your family. Ken & Denise Chuderewicz (Mahoning neighbor)

UNCLE JIM NICHOLAS
Uncle Jim Nicholas is one of a kind
Sharp in his spirit; sharp in his mind
Hard to imagine a world without him
One of a kind, our Uncle Jim
Not one to dampen any event
More likely to brighten the places he went
Lights around him would not dare to go dim
A glow in this world, our Uncle Jim
Always to me a joy to be near
His spirit will always be one I hold dear
Filling his cup of life to the brim
One of a kind, our Uncle Jim
So long for now I guess is true
But the world will remain abuzz about you
The heavens rejoice with a wondrous hymn
As the Lord welcomes our Uncle Jim!

To Dottie and Jim's family: I can't tell you how sad I am to find Jim here this morning. We were Class of 1951 at Oakmont High School. More
importantly, Jim lived a few doors from my
grandmother and we were childhood playmates even before we went to school. I was in the Nicholas living room when the news of Pearl Harbor came over Ollie's radio. And I remember Jim's experience when the first Sputnik went up: he was put to work with a slide rule doing calculations at Pearl Harbor. Know that my
prayers will be with you as you say your goodbyes.
