As I laid in a hospital bed, somehow, I end up in a page that showed Hank's photo and obituary. I'm still in shock and cannot believe that Hank is not longer with us. My heart goes to Stephanie and little miss Hanna. I know God is taking care of him, the same way that Hank took care of all the people that crossed his path on this Earth.
He was a different kind of boss and treated everybody with respect and kind. He took great care of his people, so they loved and respected him more and more everyday.
May God blessed him and send every day a little more courage to his wife and daughter.

I worked for Dora Landscaping and his father Jim when Hank was born. I didn't know Hank as an adult but remember him when he was a very young child. I can just picture his happy little face. I am so extremely saddened for the Oyler family and especially Stephanie and their daughter. I knew Hank through Real Estate and before I met him, I thought that I knew a lot about Real Estate. But he had such an amazing and gifted mind for thinking out of the box and he treated everyone in his dealings with kindness, respect and honesty. I learned so much from him and not just about plants and Real Estate. The thing I learned most and the thing that saddens me the most is when I would ask him how he had so much drive and why he was so driven, and he would say without pause, it was because he wanted quality of life and more time with his family. It was always about his family.

He taught me to trust in myself and take chances and always believe. He wanted everyone around him to have success in their lives. He was just a good person and the world is a lesser place without him.

I am still learning from you Hank, even in your absence, and by that I mean that I will not ever take a day for granted and I will cherish and love those in my life. Thank you for all the lessons. Rest in Peace my friend.

Hank it has been an honor and a privilege getting to know you my friend. You are someone I truly respect. Your drive is second to none and something Nick and I both admired. You taught us so much, motivated us when we didn't think we could be and continuously went out of your way for us and many others. You made a huge impact in our lives. Ironically, I used to tease him and ask him where he hid his halo. He would laugh and say "nah, I'm just doing what I love" Every time we would part, he would say let's get the girls together soon so they can grow up together. Hank! You are so special, tremendously loved by many and will be incredible missed. Rest in peace my friend!

I'm so very sorry for the Olyer family loss. I'm friends with Sally Oyler Whigham, Tommy and Bert and did not know James but I do know what a fine family he came from. May God bless James on his journey home and may the family find some kind of peace one day.

I'm in a complete daze right now trying to understand how this could have happened to such a young man full of life and such a great future ahead of him. I just saw Hank a few months ago the at FNGLA judging course and even though we are in the same business, we always treated each other with the upmost respect. He will be missed by so many people. Even though I did not see Hank a lot he was part of our family and he will be missed so very much. He was a wonderful man, son, brother, cousin, father and husband. He will be missed so much. My heart is so sad and I am praying for everyone. I love the entire Oyler family. Kisses and hugs.
