Dear Mrs. J. Peter and Family:
Dear Mrs. Peter and family: My most sincere sympathy on the death of
Dr. Peter. It was a once in a lifetime professional opportunity to work for Dr. Peter at Specialty/Ameripath Laboratories.
Dr. Peter has made an incredible difference in the medical arena that will take years for most of his peers to truly understand. I look at his passing on as Dr. Peter representing a large tree in the forest who has laid down to rest amongst us.
May the days to come help heal the loss of an incredible husband, father, grandfather, teacher and mentor.

Dear Joan and Family:
My most sincere sympathy on the death of Jim. It was evident by the expression in his face how much he treasured you, Joan, and his children. He had a keen mind, and his faith balanced everything in his life.
He will be sorely missed.
Love,

Mrs. J. Peter and Family:
Dear Joan and Family,
Please accept the sympathy of the Board of Trustees and everyone associated with the Gregorian University Foundation on the occcasion of Jim's death. Obviously, Jim had a full and extremely productive life and was a man of deep faith; so, we know that he is with the Lord and of all his dear ones who returned home before he has. We need to thank God for taking JIm comparatively rapidly and thus keeping his sufferering to a minimum. May Jim rest in peace and may you and all of us who loved him be consoled and comforted.
I will be offering five Masses for Jim, he may very well not need them, but all of you who loved him so much will need to be consoled and comforted. Given Jim's temperament for getting things done; he is probably busy seeking places for all of you and his other loved ones in our Father's house.
May Jim and all the faith departed rest in peace, and may God be with eah of you and all those who will be missing Jim to help you adjust to life without such a fine, talented and caring man.
With sympathy and prayers, Fr. Bob, S.J.
(Robert F. O'Toole, S.J., S.S.D., President, Gregorian University Foundation)
