Jim was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was very intelligent and dedicated to making all things around him better for everyone.Best of all, he had a huge kind heart and stood tall
in the service of others in need. The many fine qualities, including humility are rare finds. He was a treasure.

Condolences to the family.
I knew James for most of his 46 years on the Waterfront. We got along well, stirring each other up and then walking away. We had a mutual respect for each other. I admire him for his committment to the ILWU and to Civic duties and Family.
I know you'll be up there with a gleam in your eye James.
RIP James.

Jim Peters-A good union man who was very involved in his community. A long time volunteer firefighter and a City Councillor in Pitt Meadows. Jim was never lost for words and he was a good critical thinker. A family man and a good friend. R.I.P Jim
