James Raley Obituary
He was born Oct. 25, 1929, in Eldorado, to Mac and Willie (Morehead) Raley.
He married Rose Lee (Lane) Raley on March 21, 1948, in First Baptist Church of Benton. Together they shared 64 years.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Michael Raley and his fiancée, Starla Hibler, and Randy (Lynn) Raley; grandsons, Nathan Raley, Caleb Raley and Elias Raley; granddaughters, Katie Reader Martell, Anne Reader Geile and Tomi Raley Heil; a brother-in-law, the Rev. James Guynn; nieces, Dorothea Jones, Anne Calvert, Becky Baise, Mary Shoupe and Linda Douglas; and nephew, David Guynn.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Bill Raley and Charles Raley; and by sisters, Eloise Chamberlain and Joy Guynn.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, in Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado. Burial will be in Cottage Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made in Jim's honor to Whiteash Free Will Baptist Church in Marion, or to Star General Baptist Church in Eldorado.
