Uncle Pat, you have been one of the dearest, and certainly the most unique member of our family. Your generosity and hospitality are unequalled. Beginning with my Grandmother Barbie, you and Aunt Fran have welcomed everyone who visited Florida to stay with you and to be part of your family. My Mom, myself and my kids have happily extended our vacations due to your kindness. Thank you.
Having grown up with your affectionate torment, I loved watching the same jokes and pranks being played on Carrie and Douglas. I've heard them trying to explain their "Crazy Uncle Pat" to friends and understand that you defied explanation. We all know that the final description included "wonderful, loving and fun". I'm so happy to have had you in my life, and that my kids got to know a man like you. We are all so much the better for it. Our memories will keep you in our hearts forever.
Love to you, KATHY

Mrs. Rodgers and Family,
We send you our love and deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. May you know that he is with our Lord and will be well taken care of. Our prayers are with you.

Wishing your family much peace during this difficult time. May their loving memories of you and their knowledge that you are spending your time now in perfect health with Jesus bring them much comfort.

Boy, you were a wonderful neighbor to our family for the 26 years I knew you. I miss the hollers of "See ya", "Hey Boy" and "How ya doing there boy". And the jokes. I will miss the bad ones, the good ones and the same ones. You were the resident grandfather to Michelle since hers live out of state. You were such a wonderful character. One of which I'll never know again. The devotion and love of your family, so evident in your final days, are a true testament to what a wonderful man you were. Go Stealers - Jeanne, your "Honey" and the boy.

Pat, you were such a dear friend for 40 years. I knew if there was ever anything I needed, or just to talk, you would be there. Underneath that rough exterior beat a heart of gold. The neighborhood will never be the same without you. Fat Broad

I love you dad and will miss you terribly. I will always treasure you and the things you have done for me. You always made me laugh with your jokes and with your quick witt whether it was the first time I heard them or 100 times before. You will live forever in my memory. Love Barb (aka, square head and kraut)
