I really don’t know what to say. We were best friends back in the day. Even though life later took us in different directions, I will always cherish every memory of 12th Street. We grew up together and experienced so much together. You even named one of your daughters after my grandmother because you could always hear my grandfather yelling after her from the porch, GENEROSA, GENEROSA!!!. Rest in peace, my friend, and hopefully we’ll meet again in Heaven.

Jim Salvatore was a good man who knew how to celebrate family, food - and all things Italian! While there is an empty chair at our table, be assured "Uncle Jimmy" is charming the Thanksgiving crowd in the sky.
Thank you Jim and family for adopting me into the Salvatore/Colinear et al clan. You are missed but never forgotten, dear Jimmy
Alla vita ben vissuta!
