James Samuel Obituary
James was the third of seven children by his parents, the late Frank & Deotha Samuel. He graduated from Gary's West Side High School in 1976. Right after graduating, he was employed at US Steel for many years. James was also a faithful member of the Cobras Motorcycle Club. He loved riding his motorcycle and hanging out with his fellow Cobra brothers.
James is survived by his sister, Marjorie (Donald) Trentz, daughter, Amelia Samuel and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Deotha Samuel; 2 sisters: Carolyn & Tina Samuel; 3 brothers: Bennie Smith, David Wheeler, David Finley, Sr.
The Memorial Service will be held on, Saturday, September 6, 2025. Visitation, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service starts 11:00 a.m. at Powell - Coleman Funeral Home, 3200 W. 15th Ave., Gary, IN
