James SAPARA Obituary
July 16, 1938 – October 15, 2015
Jim passed away at his second home in San Tan Valley, Arizona. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten by wife, Alice; children, James, Alanna (Doug), Gaiana (Grant), Mary-Jane (Brian), Joel, and Linda; 9 grandchildren, Alysha, Justin, Dax, Tori, Jocelyn, Reo, Michael, Joshua, Jared, as well as nieces, nephews, cherished friends and his beloved friend Chewie. Predeceased by his sons Ken and Michael.
In memory of Jim there will be a celebration of his life on Friday October 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute. C/O University of Alberta Hospital Foundation, 1H1.91 WMC 8440 112 Street, Edmonton, AB, T6G 9Z9.

Thank yout to whoever edited out my misplaced words. Jim and I had a unique relationship and I was trying for humor. He would have understood but I layed awake last night thinking that to most it would just be inappropriate .

Im standing in front of my computer wondering if Im ready to tell you all what I really thought of Jim Sapara. Then wouldn't you know it, Jims Voice pops into my head "Brad Do It Now". How many times did I hear that. He almost fired me more than once because I refused.
But he didn't.
Jim and I worked together for more than 12 years and through that experience he gave me some of the values, virtues and friends that I hole dear. I just gave him grey hairs. What Jim gave me the most was the freedom to create and learn. Unforgetable experience that transformed my life. Working for Jim gave me many of the people I hold dear to my heart. Jim gave me crap a lot, sometimes he was right. Jim gave me money when I needed it. That was hard to do, but he made it easy. Jim gave me advice when I didn't need it, so I thought. Jim gave me responsability and accountability. The accountability was usually the harder part. Jim helped shape my caracter, I disliked him so much so many times when now I would thank him. Jim gave me a fishing trip to the North West Territories. With Mike and James, Awesome.. Jim gave me an unforgetable trip to Poland. I got within 25 km of where my Grandmother was born. Incredible.
Jim gave me crap a lot. LOL
Jim introduced me to his brothers. Top notch.
You'll notice I've used the words "He gave me" more than a few times. I'm sure many of you reading this have also talked about Jim starting the same way.
Jim Sapara gave so many of us a whole lot and all he really wanted in return was to see us grow.
I will always remember You Jim.
