He is survived by his siblings, Donald Scanlon and Susan (Scanlon) Russel; sons Peter and Paul Scanlon, and daughter, Maura Scanlon; grandchildren, Parker, Diego, Finn, Santino, Emerson and Alexander Scanlon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Scanlon, and his parents, Harry and Florence.

I hope this is not too late for Jim´s family to receive this. My husband Daniel Kaczorowski was a roommate of Jim at the University of Dayton in the late 50´s. He connected with Jim a few years ago and we met with him and Elaine in Florida a few times. My husband was so glad to see him again and was very sad to hear of his passing. You have our sympathy.

Im so sorry to hear my sweet kind friend Jim has passed. Friends for many years. I will miss him, but he is with Elaine now, and hopefully finally in Peace.
