James Louis Spicuzza

James "Jimmy" Louis Spicuzza died, following a long illness, on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the age of 62. Beloved husband, for 37 years, of Rosalie Cardinale Spicuzza. Loving father of Tina Marie Spicuzza, James Louis Spicuzza II and Matthew Adam Spicuzza. Grandfather of Joseph A. Jacobs and Sarah R. Nicholas. Brother of Stephen G Spicuzza, Marie E. Spicuzza and the late Michael P. Spicuzza. He was predeceased by his parents Noella Sander Spicuzza and Marco Olivia Spicuzza. Jr. Jimmy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees and a member and Deacon of the Church of God, AIC. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, buddy, plumber and hero to 4 firemen he helped rescue in 2002. He worked through the Local 60 Plumbers Pipe Fitters for 37 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA. on Friday, September 2 , 2016 at 10:00 AM.
