Truly saddened to hear of JIm's passing. He was the only mechanic i'd ever let work on my outboard. Was looking for his new contact info and came across this awful news. He was incredibly talented and patient.

Jim was a great friend and shipmate! We served together in the Philippines, aboard the U.S.S. Tomaqua YTB 797. He and I were both Engineman.
Rest in peace Jim, we have the watch!

It is so hard to believe my brother is gone. Im sure his family feels the same.I served with Jimmy (aka Jimbo) in 1984-85 at NAVSTA Subic Bay Service Craft Tugs and then again At Seal Team 5 NAB Coronado 1st LT, 1997-98. So glad I was able to see him once again at his home on Thanksgiving a few years back. RIP my brother until we meet again. Gone too soon. Fair winds and following seas shipmate...

Char- I am at a loss of words and still can't believe. I will forever miss the dailey SUP when I would pull into the marina, or when he came to my shop to help me out with something. He sure had a way about him, used to love wondering what was Jimmy going to say or do next. He always had my back and would do anything for me.
Everyone at Mad Masons will miss him dearly.

Char. My heart breaks for you. My vivid memory of Jim playing with Brielle at your house. Chasing after her and she would giggle and giggle at him. He had such a kind heart and a beautiful soul. He will be missed by so many people. Cherish your memories and remember his love. I am here if you need anything.
