VAN DYKE - James C. Van Dyke, age 80, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, August 21, 2005. James was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Delta Van Dyke. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Helen Van Dyke; his children, Jim (Roxann) Van Dyke, Sharon (Arneil) De Witt, Dan (Sue) Van Dyke, Lin (Tom) Earhart, Harvey (Shelly) Van Dyke, Kevin (Sandra) Van Dyke; his 23 grandchildren; his 26 great grandchildren; his sister, Ruth Cain; his brother-in-law, John (Wilma) Huitema; and his sister-in-law, Julia (John) Davis. A time for relatives and friends to visit with James' family will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie St. SW (west building), Grandville. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Byron Center Bible Church, 8855 Byron Center Ave. SW. Dr. Richard Gregory will be officiating. Van Dyke family,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your husband and father. My prayers are with you all.
