LONG GROVE - The visitation for James J. Weidner, 54, a lifelong resident of Long Grove, will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. The funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 20th at St. Mary of Vernon, Catholic Church, 236 U.S. 45, Indian Creek, IL 60061. Interment will be private. Jim was born December 20, 1963 in Des Plaines, Illinois and he passed away unexpectedly December 14, 2018 in Long Grove. Survivors include his father, Bernard L. (Sherryl) Weidner; siblings, Jeff (Judy) Weidner, Mark (Bonnie) Weidner, Cheri (Mike) Feightner, Lisa Sheppard, Don (Trish) Weidner, Tim Weidner, step-brothers, Matt Patton and Mark (Lynn) Patton; 14 nieces and nephews; close friend, Amy Matthews; and his best buddy, Gus. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Judith A. (nee Thompson) Weidner.
