He was a good man and a good friend

I think of Wally often and can see his smile and hear his laugh! RIP my friend.

I will never forget Wally. He was a good, kind-hearted man. He provided help for us with two vehicles that we had to sell back to Lincoln. May he continue to rest with God.

Gray- So sorry for your loss. I still have family in Midlothian (actually Chesterfield). I'll try and come say hello at your boutique next time I am in town.

I am so sorry. He will be missed by those he touched in Baltimore.

To the Whitten family: My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Wally was one of the nicest, happiest, friendliest people I knew at Ferrum. Whenever i think of the fun times we had it always brings a smile to my face. You couldn't meet or be around a better person. No one was ever more down to earth.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Wally's passing. He was a fun and active person at Blue Ridge and I will miss seeing him at the golf tournaments and reunions. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Wally is a good friend to my family. He always was a fun loving & caring friend. Wally was a great athlete in lacrosse. I have many found memories at Blue Ridge School with Wally. Wally was a leader and such a pleasure to hang around with in Richmond and on the water. Wally will leave a void in the "Old Crew" here in Richmond and will always be remembered in my prayers.
