23, of Birmingham, Michigan, died December 7, 2016. Jamie was the beloved son of Lisa (Fiancé Kenneth Goldman) Daniels and Ken (Rebecca) Daniels. Adored brother of Arlyn Daniels. Dear stepbrother of Zoe, Ian, Andrew and Melanie. Cherished grandson of Renee (Howard) Tward, the late Gerald Greenberg, the late Sylvia and the late Marvin Daniels. Loving nephew of Mark Greenberg, Alan (Karen) Greenberg, John (Penny) Daniels, Linda (Sheldon) Lifshen and Gary (Fiancée Alana Biggs) Daniels. So sorry for your loss, it is always hard when a parent outlives a child, but just keep in mind that he is with God in Heaven and now is your guardian from this day forward. My husband and I love your work, he is originally from Dearborn Heights and we live in Jacksonville, FL now but still remain saddened for the loss of Jamie and pray that God will give you continued strength on your movement forward to the future. Jamie was a freshman student in my First Year Writing Class at MSU in a 5:00 pm class, winter semester, in a computer lab in the basement of one of our buildings. At the end of a long day, when it was already dark outside, cold and all were tired, my students came into this room and made my day, Jamie being part of the crew. He sat right in front of my computer desk, huge smile on his face, and was a jokester throughout class (along with those around him), which made a later night class in the winter well worth it. Teaching 81 students in a semester, there are those that you you never forget and Jamie is definitely one of those students. He made me laugh, he challenged me, and he worked so hard in my class. I am heartbroken, in tears and will never forget his smile and words every class when he walked in: "Hey Barb, How ya doin' today?" RIP Jamie.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Jamie. I had the honor to coach Jamie for some time when he was a youth. He was a warm, kind and gentle person and he was always a joy to have around. He was well liked and respected by his team and coaches. He had a great sense of humor and would always bring smiles to our faces.
