Elvesta E. Breckenridge

Elvesta Elizabeth Breckenridge, 99, of Cranberry, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in Siemon Lakeview Manor Estates, Somerset. She was born Oct. 14, 1908, in New Sewickley to the late Robert J. and Emma (Lawall) Reiser and also was predeceased by son Robert W. Breckenridge, who died in 1983. Mrs. Breckenridge was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Lovi, Cranberry, and owned and operated the Fudge Stand on Freedom Road, Cranberry, for more than 50 years. Elvesta was a former sub-mail carrier for the Mars-Cranberry route and one of the main contributors of information for the Cranberry Township Historical Society. She is survived by son David L. Breckenridge (LaVerne), of Rockwood; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 until an 11 a.m. service Saturday in the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME CREMATION SVCS., INC., 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry.
