Jane Boone Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 8 to Nov. 14, 2022.
Jane Allyne Boone, born in Texas, Kentucky, she passed away after suffering from lung failure on July 26, 2022 in Lakewood , CO lovingly surrounded by her side was her daughter Jamie and grandson Michael.

Jane Boone was born on May 9, 1929 to her parents Georgie and Lee Goode in Kentucky. After she was married to her husband Paul Richard Boone they moved to Los Angeles, Ca. and were married for 34 years. She had 2 children, Georgiana and Jamie born in California. She was a devoted wife for 34 years, but sadly divorced and relocated to the Atlanta, Ga area and lived the rest of her life with her daughter Jamie.

Jane or MaBoone as she was affectionately known by, unconditionally, unselfishly loved her children and grandchildren and supported them all her life through the many highs and difficulties they experienced.

Jane was also passionate about her Christian faith and attended many Baptist and Christian churches throughout the Georgia area. She loved the community church of Dr. Charles Stanley in the Atlanta area.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family and especially quality time with her Grandchildren Dylan, Ashlyn and Legend who she proudly doted over and spoiled every chance she could get.

To say that her family and friends will miss her greatly is an understatement.

It was said Jane (MaBoone) was unselfish to a fault. Often neglecting the needs of herself for the needs and well-being of her family and close friends.

She is survived by her two Daughters, Georgiana Haselton of Woodbridge, Va., Jamie Boone of Lakewood, Co. , younger brother Robert Goode and Sister in law Louetta Goode of Versailles, Ky, her oldest sister Leona Hayes of Fisher, In., grandchildren, Frank, Michael, Sean and Matthew. As well as great grandchildren, Dylan, Ashlyn and Legend. She loved seeing all her family members and regretted not being able to do more. She suffered a life altering fall in Atlanta, Ga which would cause her life to be forever different and limiting her ability to function fully and completely.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers and cards, donations and memories be shared at https://everloved.com/life-of/boone-jane/

At her request, in her final wishes, there will be no memorial service or funeral by her immediate family. She wished to be remembered and acknowledged as a hard working, loving mother and grandmother, loyal, unselfish and always full of life and love for the people that meant the most to her, her family!

Jane had the sweetest smile and a very kind heart. She was a very devoted Mother to her daughters and a great joy to her family and friends. I´m sure she was overjoyed of being able to be near her family these past years.
