It seems impossible that Jane Cantor has been gone so long. She was the paternal grandmother of our mutual grandson, Samuel Cantor, of whom I am his maternal grandmother. Jane was a lovely, sweet lady that I was blessed to know for such a very short time along with her widower Fred Cantor. She always treated Samuel and my daughter Megan in all of the best ways possible. She is missed.

Thank you for helping someone I love who was your patient. When I contacted you to let you know this person needed extra help, you were there for her. You went above and beyond. She had spoken highly of you for years and it was great when I could finally speak with you on the phone, you were as kind and caring as she'd said. Sending hugs to your family.

My deepest condolences to Fred and all of Jane's family. I am so saddened to hear about her passing. Jane was my first supervisor after I graduated from Social Work Graduate School. We worked together for three years at Washington Adventist Hospital inpatient psychiatry unit and then trained together at the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center. Jane was a great friend, supervisor, mentor and colleague. She was a warm, caring and loving person, a dedicated therapist, with a love for life and a beautiful smile. I will remember our years of laughter together and our journeys back and forth to Philadelphia. I will miss her very much.
