Jane M. Fallon

Jane Marie Fallon 85, of Robbins Road, Keene, NH, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at her home in Keene, with her daughters, Marion and Jennifer, at her side.

She was born in Pittsfield, MA on November 2, 1930, the daughter of Francis Shannon and Marion Berthiaume.

She attended Southern Vermont College where she received a degree in nursing.

A resident of Pittsfield for many years, Mrs. Fallon worked as a registered nurse at several different nursing homes until retiring at age 75.

She loved tending her animals on her small farm, especially her chickens. She later enjoyed working in her vegetable and floral gardens. Her favorite pastime however was the special moments shared with her family.

While residing in Keene for the past two years, Mrs. Fallon was a parishioner of the Parish of the Holy Spirit.

She is survived by her children, Jay Fallon of San Francisco, CA, Marion Boardman and her husband, John, of Keene, Anthony Fallon and his wife, Helen, of Tallahassee, FL, Peter Fallon and his fiancé, Debra, of Newton, MA, Timothy Fallon and his wife, Karen, of Newton, Jennifer Fallon of Keene; eight grandchildren, Christy, Sarah and her, husband, Nuno, Kate, Mathew, Peter, JJ, Matthew, Nicholas; and a great-grandson, Jacob. She was predeceased by her husband, John, and her brother, Anthony Shannon.

A private mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church.
