Rancho Mirage - In Loving Memory of Jane Silverman, March 14, 1948 - June 15, 2025

After a courageous battle with cancer, Jane Silverman passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, at her cherished home in Rancho Mirage, California. She was surrounded by love, with her devoted husband of 53 years, Sam, by her side.

Jane was a woman of intellect, passion, and boundless spirit. She earned her degree in Literature from the University of Wisconsin, a reflection of her deep love for language, stories, and the human experience. But Jane's life was never confined to the page-she lived it boldly and fully.

A true lover of animals, Jane found joy in the company of horses, dogs, and birds. She was also an accomplished artist and a free spirit, known for her honesty, wit, and the fearless way she spoke her truth. Her friends admired her authenticity and loved her deeply for it.

Jane was an athlete at heart, embracing the outdoors with enthusiasm. She found exhilaration in snow skiing, tennis, pickleball, scuba diving, water skiing, and road biking. Her zest for life was matched only by her love of celebration-Jane never missed a good party and treasured the laughter and warmth of friends.

Together, Jane and Sam lived a rich and adventurous life, traveling the world in pursuit of beauty, culture, and new experiences. Their journey was one of love, discovery, and shared dreams.

Jane is survived by her beloved husband Sam Silverman, her son Michael Bank, her daughter Cindy Bank, and her sister Candy Pindyck. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Jane's life will be held at Lake Mirage Racquet Club in Rancho Mirage, California, on October 11th at 3:30 PM. All who knew her are welcome to join in honoring a life so vibrantly lived.
