CURTIS, JANET D. Of Goodrich, age 73, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Crittenden Hospital in Rochester. A memorial service will be held 6pm Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Steve Wood officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project. Visitation 3pm Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Janet was born in Mississippi on January 8, 1948, the daughter of the late John and Mary (McMullan) Tracy. On May 3, 1968, she married Frederick Curtis Jr. in Atlas, Michigan. Janet enjoyed going to casinos, reading romance novels and spending time spoiling her children, grandchildren and her dog, Sikum. Janet always loved getting dolled up. Surviving are daughter, Tracy and husband John Pavone of Grand Blanc; Daughter-in-law, Kimberly Curtis of Davison; Grandchildren, Sarah and husband Timothy Kidd of Atlas, Dominic Pavone of Grand Blanc, TJ Curtis of Davison, Liliana Pavone of Grand Blanc; Great-grandchildren, Chloe Kidd and Curtis Kidd; Loving companion, David (Skip) Scott; Many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of special friends.
