Patricia A. Lemire, 62

WEST BROOKFIELD - Patricia A. "Pat" Lemire, 62, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at UMASS Memorial Hospital, with her loving family by her side after a lengthy illness.

She leaves her beloved daughter, Ashlee M. E. Givins and her fiancé Martin W. DiMarzio, of West Brookfield; her two grandchildren, Marlee and Oliver, who were the loves of her life; her siblings, Charlotte A. (Lemire) Broadard and her husband Anthony, of Worcester, and Paul W. Lemire, Jr., of Webster; her sister-in-law, Robin A. (Hochevar) Lemire, of Oxford; her special nieces and nephews, Shellie, Matthew, Missi, Marc, Jessica, Sean, Jonathan, and Kaytie; and her cherished great-nieces, Harlei, Steph, and Faith, whom she loved dearly. Pat was predeceased by her brother, David M. "Red" Lemire; and her parents, Rev. Paul W. Lemire and Mary E. (Boyle) Lemire.

Born in Worcester, and raised in Oxford, Pat graduated from Oxford High School, before attending college in North Adams. She then transferred to Quinsigamond Community College and received her certificate in Respiratory Therapy. Pat enjoyed a lengthy career of over 30 years at UMASS Memorial Hospital – University Campus working as a Respiratory Therapist on 7 ICU, before she retired.

Pat became the beloved matriarch of the Lemire family after her father passed in 2015, and became their rock. She was the one you went to with a problem, because she always had the answer. Pat will be remembered for her deep sense of family, and her love of couponing! Her family was her pride and joy, and meant the world to her. She will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a pulmonary foundation of one's choice.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Lemire family between 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the BRITTON - WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St., Auburn. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, August 13, 2021 at St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford St. N., Auburn, followed by burial in the family lot at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester.
