JANET LEE
Age 64, of Mt. Lebanon, PA died peacefully on October 22, 2017. She was born on June 8, 1953, in Sewickley, PA to the late George and Rita Hufnagle. She will be missed dearly by her loving and devoted husband of 36 years, Robert H. Falk; her children, Tyler H. Falk (Katie) and Abigail L. Krolczyk (Jeffrey); two grandsons, Hunter and Shea Falk; her sister, Kimberly A. Papalia; nieces, Bailey Tata (Marc) and Kenna Papalia; and her sister-in-law, Jane Bortz (William). Jan was an elementary school teacher for 37 years with the majority of her tenure spent in the Upper St. Clair School District. Her greatest loves other than her family were being on the beach, skiing, cooking, and reading quietly on the porch with her dogs. There will be a memorial service in Jan's honor on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 4 p.m. at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Mt. Lebanon, 799 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Jan's memory be sent to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, https://www.themmrf.org. Arrangements made by the MILTON E. HAMEL MORTUARY, 169 McMurray Road, Pittsburgh, PA.

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Falk's passing. She was my sons' 1st grade teacher at Baker, and a wonderful person for them to spend the first "full day" of school with. She made the only gingerbread cookies I have ever liked, and I still have her handwritten recipe notecard with the recipe. (over 25 years ago). May God watch over all of you, and keep your wonderful memories of her always in your heart.

Jan's beautiful and Gentle Spirit Of Love , Kindness And her Smile will live on in the lives of those she touched. My boys and I are so saddened to hear of your loss. Jan was my boys gifted teacher at Baker and their greatest advocate. She gave me such good advice always and I trusted her implicitly. She spoke so often of Tyler and Abby, she was so proud of you both! Thank you for sharing your wonderful mom and wife with my family.
