Joyce Berntson Wilson passed away peacefully at her home in Brigham City, Utah on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at the age of 77. Throughout her life she battled and beat breast cancer twice before recently learning she had metastasized pancreatic cancer. She was born September 1, 1945, in Logan, Utah and attended Logan High School and Utah State University.

In 1965 she married Ross H. Wilson, and they enjoyed 57 years together. After moving to Brigham City, she worked for the IRS before welcoming three children. She had a keen eye for interior design and loved to make things look beautiful. Later in life she put these talents to use arranging flowers for both Brigham Floral and Drewes Floral. She could be called upon at any time to paint or decorate something for someone and always did an amazing job.

She and her husband have three children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her cats and the birds in her yard. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and gardening making her home and yard always look nice. She was a member of the Spade and Hope Garden Club in Brigham City. Joyce liked to know what was going on in the world and was always watching the news or reading the paper. She was a great friend and always tried to do her visiting teaching and stay connected with her neighbors.

The family would like to thank CNS Home Health and Hospice for the care they provided.

She is survived by her spouse: Ross; her daughter: Amy (Richard Bigler); and sons: Mark (Brandy) and Travis (Heather).

She was preceded in death by both her parents: Gardner Smith Berntson (1998) and Anna Bernice Olsen Berntson (1986); her brother: Ray Olsen Berntson (2008); and a half-brother: Lee Hammond (2015).

Funeral services will be held at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah, Friday, April 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. A Viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:30 - 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery following the service.
