Janet was my friend from childhood. We walked to school together every day and shared fun thoughts. Again, on one year since she passed away, please know I send my deepest condolences to all members of her family. How lucky you were to be part of her life. She will always be part of mine.

My story begins 60 years ago when I walked into fourth grade in Lincoln School, Bergenfield, NJ. (I think it was fourth grade) I do remember that it was the same room that was used as the cafeteria. My teacher was tall, young with short blonde hair. She seemed strict at the time, especially about the use of fountain pens Lol! but I did like her!!!! Now its 22 years later, my husband and I moved to Waldwick with our two little girls and my youngest daughter is entering 2nd grade at Crescent School. I knew her teacher's name was Mrs. Stock but I never had a chance to meet her and her last name is a common name! For some strange reason I just couldn't let the thought go that maybe it could be the same "Mrs. Stock." I asked my daughter to ask her teacher if she ever taught in Bergenfield! "Yes" I immediately went to see her the next day and I will never forget it! She said she remembered me and I definitely remembered her and we hugged! What a Wonderful Person, what a Wonderful Teacher! May Our Favorite Teacher RIP

I send my deepest condolences to all in the family of my longtime friend, Janet Stock. I knew Janet from childhood growing up in Carlstadt, NJ. Our backyards connected and we walked to school each day sharing our fun friendship. By chance, years later, when Janet became a grammar school teacher in Waldwick, and I became an engineer and moved to that town with my wife and family, my six year old daughter came home from school with a note from Janet. We rekindled our friendship and remained in touch. I will miss her jubilant personality and her kind nature. How fortunate you were to be her family. May peace be with you.
