On Friday October 25, 2013, Janet Louise Kirzinger (nee Goodman) of Edmonton passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of family and close friends.
Jan faced her battle with cancer with amazing strength and grace. Her memory will be cherished by her two children, Kayla and Logan; her brother Gerald (Alice) and their daughters, Kennedy and Cassidy; her father in-law Otto and his wife Madeleine; sister in-law Kia and her daughter Kira; and countless dear friends. Jan was predeceased by her husband Derik, mother Mary Louise and father Gordon.
Jan will be remembered for her kindness, her beautiful garden and her devotion to her family and community.
A Celebration of Jan's Life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Trinity United Church, 8810 Meadowlark Road N.W., Edmonton. Reception to follow at the Rio Terrace Moravian Church 15108 - 76 Avenue, where she was an active member.
Special thanks to Jan's "Butterflies" and the Helpful Angels on the Palliative Care Unit at the Edmonton General.
