HUNTINGTON, UT - Janet Gay Leamaster, age 77, passed away September 3, 2011 in Huntington, Utah. She was born August 31, 1934 to Ted R. Nielson and Verna L. Leonard in Huntington, Utah. She married Del B. Leamaster on November 13, 1954 in Huntington, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on April 9, 2011 in the Manti LDS Temple.
She is survived by her husband, Del; four children: Joni L. (Steven) Miller of Mapleton, Utah, Kelly (Steve) Wilson of Huntington, Utah, Ronni (Tony) Torre of Huntington, Utah, and Cassie L. Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, Patricia Fessenden of Salt Lake City, Utah. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hal Nielson; and sister, Virginia Howard.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Huntington 4th Ward Chapel (240 North Main - Huntington, Utah.) A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (720 North Center - Castle Dale, Utah) and on Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Huntington City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Janet at www.fausettmortuary.com.

Darrel, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this time. I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I have a lot of special memories of working with the Drinking Water Board over the years that I will always treasure. Especially when you and Bob Hilbert served on the Board. I am still with Drinking Water. May you and your family find comfort and peace at this time.
