Janet Lauren Lyle, (nee Hosa)

August 22, 1960-March 22, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Lauren Lyle (Hosa). She suffered a heart attack and, after a short hospital stay, passed away on March 22, 2025. Janet was 64 years old.

Janet Lauren Lyle (Hosa) was born on August 22, 1960, in Cleveland, OH, to John and Joanne Hosa. She was a beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend.

Janet always put her children first-they were the most important people in her life. Her ideal day was spent with her children, siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She loved to have conversations and share stories about her life. She was seen as a second mom to many. Her most recent job was at the BMV, where she loved conversing with new customers every day. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and watching TV with her two cats.

Janet is survived by her two sons, Jim Lyle and Bill Lyle, and her husband, Bill Lyle. She is also survived by her brothers, John (Barbara) Hosa and Pete (Maureen) Hosa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joanne and John Hosa, and her brother, Steve Hosa.

A private celebration of life will be held with close family and friends. Honoring Janet's wishes, the celebration will include fireworks in her memory. She will be deeply missed by many.
