Janet Marie Powers

Janet Marie Powers, age 78, passed away, surrounded by the love of her family, in the early morning of July 20, 2022. She was born May 31, 1944 to the late Vincent and the late Janet Balderston, the middle of three daughters in the family. Janet was blessed with a full and loving family, the beloved mother of four children. She excelled at the challenge of being a single mother and sacrificed more than anyone will ever know to make sure her children and grandchildren were supported in whatever they did. Janet was an extremely hardworking individual, retiring from her longtime position at Alfa Laval in 2010. She was also exceedingly active in her church and community, always offering time, donations, and a helping hand. Everyone who was fortunate enough to know Janet could attest that she would offer the shirt off of her back to anyone that needed it, and always put others before herself. Janet is survived by her children Janice Powers, Theresa Swan and her husband John, Thomas Powers, and Roseanne Powers; her six grandchildren: Jessica, Sierra, Kelsey, Halie, Samantha, and Ashton; sisters Dorothy Kiedaisch and her husband Carl, and Bernadette Balderston. She is predeceased by her loving parents, the late Vincent and Janet Balderston. Friends and family are invited to Janet's Life Celebration on Friday, July 29 from 9:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 A.M. at St. Robert of Bellarmine Church, located at 856 Euclid Avenue, Warrington, Pa 18974. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
