I am sorry to hear of your loss. I loved your mom. We were friends in Shreveport, LA and lost touch over the years. I am honored and blessed that she had touched my life, as I know so many others.

Aunt Jan,

You were a very sweet, kind, and loving soul. I was glad the day you married Uncle Ted because I wanted you as my new Aunt. I thank God you were brought into our lives. I will miss you dearly but I get some comfort in the knowledge that you are together again with Uncle Ted. Rest in peace, sweet lady.

love,
Dayna, Jim, Philip, Isabella, and Christian Ferguson (Higginbotham)

Janet, Thanks for all the special memories of childhood. Some of my favorite memories are visiting the South and my Aunt Estelle and all my cousins. With the Blackledge family, there were lots of cousins but special cousins were few and far between.... thanks for being one of them. You will be missed.

Mom, Gayle, Kap, Becky, Mike, Stacey, David and Trent:
Janet was one of those people who always looked at life with a smile and poured herself into anything and anyone that needed her. She left three beautiful legacies (Trent, Stacey and David) and certainly her capacity to make the most of the moment will be carried on through them and the rest of you.
I am so sorry for your loss. Karen Calkins

My baby, the Lord loaned you to me for 59 wonderful years. You were the most loving, thoughtful, attentive daughter a mother could have. Words can't express my sorrow. Rest, my darling, and I will see you again in heaven.Mama

Janet.Probably THE most determined woman I have ever known. What an inspiration she was. Jan touched so many lives and was loved and admired by so many people. She will be forever missed...we had an agreement (as one cancer patient to another) that whichever one of us passed first, the other would greet us and guide us in...Janet will be my angel who greets me, when my time comes. While she was here on this earth, she lived life well and made the most of each and every day~ Bye for now Jan, until we meet again. Love,
BARB xoxo
