Consistent with the philosophy of St. Agatha School, Janet was committed to excellence in education ever mindful of her students' spiritual, social, and academic needs. She was dedicated to her profession serving as a mentor to many new teachers and as steadfast colleague and friend to other faculty members.
Parents especially appreciated Janet's kindness and boundless patience with the children in her charge. This was a natural outgrowth of her love and pride for her own family - her lovely daughters and her beloved Tim. She applauded and encouraged their enthusiasms and varied talents while remaining humble about her own.
Janet was a gentle soul who has taken her place in heaven. We mourn her passing, but are thankful for having known her.

Janet was the well-loved Second Grade teacher of our children at St Agatha. Her sweet voice was reassuring to her students in their early education. Gentle in her classroom approach, she always gave praise and encouragement. Later. we both attended a Stephanie Spielman Center event "Look Good, Feel Better. We laughed watching each other try on wigs as outlandish as the bright pink, Punk-Rock style. We met again when Mike and I toured the new James Hospital, amazed that Janet looked so well, having received a new treatment. We will always remember the Faith she believed in, the Hope she held and the Love she shared.

Mrs. Crowley graced St. Agatha School with decades of wonderful teaching; the type of teacher, person, and personal example that every parent wishes their children to be tutored and nurtured by throughout a child's development. Mrs. Crowley touched hundreds of young students and their parents. She was the ultimate faculty colleague and the entire St. Agatha community thanks her and gives our sympathy and great respect to Mr. Crowley and her wonderful children.
